Mind, body and breath are integrated parts of a whole. Congestion in any one of them affects the others. With Yoga Therapy, we focus on clearing such blockages through asana and breath in order to regain balance. Yoga therapy practices are suitable for every age, level and body type.

This program, led by our proficient and popular expert, Banu Çadırcı, is suitable for experts and experienced yoga practitioners who want to advance in Yoga Therapy.

Those, who complete the program, will receive an internationally valid certificate of 100-hour Yoga Therapy and Yoga Anatomy Specialization Program.

Why this specialization program?
The mind, body and breath are intertwined as a whole. Any congestion in one of these realms affects the other(klesa). If Klesa diminishes or goes away, your system rebalances itself. Along with the opened area, the sukha (comfort zone) increases and Prana (life energy) flows more easily. That’s where this Yoga Therapy focuses on. Yoga Therapy advances and supports western medicine.

“Yoga Therapy is based on Patanjali yoga tradition and Ayurveda system. It is the adaptation and application of yoga techniques and practices to balance the shortcomings in every level by reducing these congestion and increasing your living power. “Gary Kraftsow

My beloved teacher, Gary Kraftsow, who is one of the most sophisticated yoga therapists in the world who started working with Krishnamacharya at the age of 19, thinks these yoga therapy tools as a real tool bag. These tools can either be asana, or breath or asana adaptation.

All these concepts and understanding of yoga are based on Krishnamacharya and Desikachar. Have the opportunity to learn this yoga style, which is suitable for everyone, with a 100-hour comprehensive specialization program.

The main objective of the specialization program

The main objective of this program is to change the way you look at the yoga, to deepen your practice and to train skilled specialists who practice and apply safe yoga practices.

What is the content of the Specialization Program?
-Yoga Anatomy
-Yoga therapy for lower body; waist, sacrum, hipler, sciatica, knees, ankle and feet
-Yoga therapy for upper body; upper back, neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists and scoliosis

For each main title I will teach anatomical information as much as the yoga specialist should know. Later we will then look at the musculoskeletal system and physical problems that are common in that area. At the end of each theory section there will be yoga practice.

Adaptation Concept and Series Principles
Adaptation is the focal point of the Viniyoga ™ application. At this point we reach the upper and lower vertebrae and start to benefit from poses. I’m going to talk about Viniyoga ™ series principles. In order for the concept of adaptation to be well established, it will be the practice of yoga directed to the targeted theme.

Transferring Principles and Connotations of Yoga Practice
This chapter includes asana knowledge, concept of adaptation, manual orientation and touch, basic elements of yoga practice, steps of asana narration and bases of yoga practice. Everyone who participates in the specialization program will make the practice appropriate for the given themes.

Vijnana Darsana (Observation Art)
You will have the chance to observe different bodies ( your own body and others’ in couple practices). This way, you will be able to move forward with your own practice as well as the language that you use in your yoga practice.

Case Studies
We will do case studies with participants or outside people in accordance with the theme. These studies will help to deepen observation, ask questions, and develop the ability to produce appropriate solutions for that person.
