People see what they want to see

This is the most important intake from the Aladdin movie.

I kept on repeating this sentence over and over again since I saw the movie last Friday.

It’s kind of my master thesis. I have been working on that for a long while.

We all keep on day dreaming. We keep on ignoring what is real and what is really happening.

We pretend that she/he still holds us dear but we keep on ignoring that there isn’t a relationship anymore.

We pretend that we are still young, clever, beautiful, or handsome but we keep on ignoring that we loose job or not beautiful, handsome, young or clever any more.

We pretend that we are the most adorable couple in the world but our partner has long gone.

As a friend of mine commented ‘The eyes see when we are ready to see’. Otherwise we all live in a make believe world.

Our perception is not clear. Yogic philosophy calls the mind as dirty vessel. Whatever we put inside, it gets dirty. Even if it is purest thing in the world.

First and almost we need to admit that our perception is not clear. We all have different stories, backgrounds, beliefs, memories, and conditionings from this life time, and from the previous life times.

Yes it is hard to admit, and really hard to become aware of the long ongoing habits.

As Joseph Campbell says ‘The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure that you seek‘.

What is it that you want to achieve in your life? Do you want to continue with the old habits or are you seeking the truth?

These are the questions that I have been asking to myself for a long while.

What is it that you want in your life? Do you want to live in a make believe world or are you seeking for the truth?

Yes, it’s really tiring and exhausting to distort the truth.

Let’s all unveil the curtain, and live the life fully with its whole truth; not the way we like or we want, but only the truth.
