Ayurveda Through Practice with Konstantinos Charantiniotis is at Cihangir Yoga on March 20-22!
In this program, designed for both yoga and yoga students, we will learn the basic principles of Ayurveda and how to use these principles as a way of bringing this philosophy into life.
This workshop is unique by bringing Ayurveda approach into Yoga and it is designed to give new perspective to yoga practitioners and teachers.
We will gain knowledge about the Pancha Mahabhutas or the five great elements and how to use the practice as a way of bringing this philosophy into life. Also, we will learn to integrate Ayurveda into a yoga practice to give others a deeper understanding of their body type and basic concepts of Ayurveda.
The hours in this intensive count towards the Cihangir Yoga 300 Hour Transformative Yoga Path.
The program is about learning through practice and strongly adheres to an experiential approach to learning. Most of all you will gain knowledge and the ability to “see” the world through the scope of the ancient systems of Yoga & Ayurveda.
You will use the practice as a way of bringing to life these philosophical teachings as you work the body into balance, health and well-being.
You will learn to integrate Ayurveda into a yoga session, and give students a deeper understanding of their body type as well as how the basic concepts of Ayurveda and the 5 elements of nature relate to everyday life. In addition you will learn the necessary tools to offer private sessions and help your students to develop a personal yoga practice suited to their unique condition physically and mentally.

-Customise public yoga sessions for balancing the 3 Doshas
-Structure sequences and flows, according to the 5 elements and the seasons
-Instruct private yoga sessions applying Ayurvedic principles
