In this workshop, designed to help you overcome the mental threshold of fear, we will explore handstand practices in a detailed and comprehensive way—especially those we hesitate to attempt due to a sense of insecurity, even when we have the physical capacity.

Focusing on developing the essential skill of falling safely—the foundational step before attempting a handstand—the workshop aims to help participants recognize the reflexes that activate during the pose and understand the key building blocks on the path toward handstand.

As we become more familiar with our vestibular perception—which is often unaccustomed to facing the possibility of falling—we will learn the anatomical alignment principles and fundamental action points specific to the nature of a handstand.

Covering cartwheel practice, safe exits from the pose, wall-supported exercises, and partner handstand work, this workshop invites you to approach your limits with respect, explore the poses, and have plenty of fun while jumping, falling, and getting back up again.
