About the Expert
Who is Rida Kıraşı ?
She completed the Sound Healing Practitioner training at the British Academy of Sound Therapy in London in 2015. Upon graduation, she specialized in sound practices using gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, drums, voice, and mantra. To deepen her work with the gong, she completed advanced-level training with master Don Conreux.
In 2015, upon realizing that the physical and emotional body carries imprints of the past and fears of the future, she received a Yoga Therapy certification from Banu Çadırcı. She completed Mimar Sinan University’s Movement and Dance Therapy Certificate Program in 2018 and continues to work with various movement techniques. She deepened her practice in Yin Yoga and received Thai Massage Practitioner training in Thailand.
In 2019, with the intention of learning about and practicing the effects of life experiences on the body, she completed the three-year Somatic Experiencing® training in Trauma Resolution and Stress Management through Body Awareness, as well as Integral Somatic Psychology training.
She completed Patricia Whitebuffalo’s three-year Shamanic Practices training. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Kent University.
After graduating from Tarsus American College, she completed a degree in Business Administration (English program) at Marmara University and worked at an advertising agency in Istanbul. She lived in Helsinki and Berlin for a period of time.
She currently lives alternately in Istanbul and in a forest in Kırklareli. She is a mother of one child and two cats.
