Yoga for Wellbeing with Meltem Fakabasmaz, Pop Up Practice– Immunity Flow
Saturday, September 27, CY Local Cihangir
15:00–16:30
It is free for members. Non-members can join by purchasing a single session.
This practice is designed to support the immune system and strengthen the body’s internal defense mechanisms.
Starting with Hatha–Vinyasa-based flows, the session stimulates lymphatic circulation and activates the natural flow of immune cells. Through movement, breath, and body awareness, it offers a holistic sense of balance.
What to expect in this practice:
Myofascial Release & Acupressure: We’ll use sequential techniques to release toxins accumulated in the tissues and support healthy lymphatic flow.
Lung–Large Intestine Meridian Focus: From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, this meridian axis is considered the immune line of the autumn season. We'll focus on this throughout the session to support the body's natural healing rhythm.
Breathwork & Meditation: Beginning and ending the practice with pranayama and a short meditation will help regulate the nervous system and balance cellular energy.
Who is this practice for?
If you’re feeling tired or prone to getting sick
If illness is going around and you'd like to take preventative steps
If you want to gently yet effectively stimulate your circulation and immune system
If you’d like to end your day feeling more energized and balanced
Open to participants of all levels.
